Albert Lee Hagen

Albert Lee Hagen, 77, husband of the late Mary Lou Bailey Hagen, of Abbeville died Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at his home. He was born in Abbeville to the late James Gordon Hagen, Sr. and Bessie Lee Prince Hagen. Mr. Hagen worked for Pirelli Cable for almost 25 years and was a member of Lebanon Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed many unique hobbies, including ditch-digging, tree-climbing and especially, wood-working. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Rena Lee Gray; two brothers, James Gordon Hagen, Jr. and Samuel Andrew Hagen and a grandson, Thomas William Hagen. Mr. Hagen is survived by two sons, James Albert Hagen and his wife, Angela, of Honea Path and Thomas Bailey Hagen of Abbeville; four grandchildren, Thomas Brandon Collier, Caleb Dalton Hagen, James 'Randy' Gray and his wife, Kayla, and Michall Justun Gray; and three great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 1:00PM to 2:00PM Friday, June 13, 2014 at Harris Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00PM in the funeral home chapel. A private burial will be in Long Cane Cemetery. The family is at their respective homes.
