Allan W Lang

Allan W. Lang, 75, of McCormick, husband of Brenda A. Nathewitch Lang, died Friday, December 22, 2023, at the Hospice House in Greenwood.  He was born in Baltimore, MD to the late Raymond and Dorothy Myers Lang.

Allan was a graduate of Maryland University.  He proudly served  his country as a veteran of the Coast Guard.  Allan embarked on a successful career at Verizon in Silver Spring, MD where he served as an IT specialist for 25 years in the then Yellow Pages division.  Many people appreciated and will remember Allan for his help with their computer issues. When not working, Allan enjoyed indulging in his passion for golf. Playing three times a week, he found solace and joy traveling to various golf courses throughout the United States.

Allan is survived by his wife of 48 years, Brenda, of the home who will miss him dearly, as will many others.

A celebration of Allan's life will be held at a later date.
