Ann Edith Cole, 84, formally of Succasuanna, NJ, died peacefully Friday, June 8, 2017 at the Hospice House in Greenwood, SC. She was born in East Orange and lived in Succasunna most of her life before moving to S C, 2 years ago. She was an E M T Technician and volunteer for the Roxbury Township Rescue Squad for 48 years. She was also a past president of the Roxbury Township Ladies Auxiliary for the Fire Company #1, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Dover, and member of the Ledgewood Baptist Church. She was predeceased by her husband George W Cole in 1991, and is survived by her son Douglas (and Kim) Cole of Hackettstown and daughter Lori Sue (and Cotton) McMahan, grandson Ryan George (and Elizabeth) Bunn and great granddaughter Audrey Haven Bunn, all of Greenwood, SC, and her sisters-in-law; Lois Berwanger of Ledgewood, and Eda Kunzer of Stanhope. Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Sunday from 2 – 5 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, 11 am, at the Funeral Home, with the interment to follow at the Mt. Olive Cemetery.
