Anna Elizabeth Yoder Hershberger, 80, wife of the late Henry J. Hershberger, of Honea Path, SC went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at her residence. Mrs. Hershberger was born in Grantsville, MD to the late Simon L. and Lydia Yoder Yoder. She was a member of Whispering Pines Mennonite Church where she remained faithful until death. Mrs. Hershberger married the love of her life, Henry J. Hershberger, on November 23, 1950. She will be remembered as a faithful servant of the Lord, a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew her. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Yoder and Elmer Yoder; two sisters, Dorothy Yoder and Bertha Yoder; a brother-in-law, Jerry Yoder; a sister-in-law, Emma Peachey Yoder; and a grandson, Christopher Lee Hershberger. Surviving Mrs. Hershberger are seven children, Merle (Grace) Hershberger of Belton, SC, Paul (Anna Mae) Hershberger of Delta, CO., Henry Hershberger, Jr. (Barbara) of Abbeville, SC, Ray (Betty) Hershberger of Pickens, SC, Dorothy Hershberger of the home, and twins Martha and Marvin (Buddy, special needs son) Hershberger of the home; three brothers, Denver Yoder, of Alabama, Galen (Frieda) Yoder of Michigan, and Gerald (Mary) Yoder of Costa Rica; three sisters, Thelma Yoder, of Georgia, Pauline (Allen) Yoder of Georgia, and Marilyn (William) Yoder of Missouri; a sister-in-law, Esther Yoder Hershberger, of Ohio; four grandsons, Jacob (Valerie) Hershberger, Chad (Angela) Hershberger, Jason (Sharlyn) Hershberger and Nate Hershberger; six granddaughters, Paula (Rod) Eby, Diana (Lyle) Wingard, Elizabeth Hershberger, Jolene (Brent) Kennell, Wanda (Randell) Yoder, and Myra (Dale) Miller; and nineteen great-grandchildren, Issac & Jamie Hershberger, Emma & Paige Hershberger, Alaina & Coleson Hershberger, Carson & Kate Eby, Haley, Daphnee & Dustin Wingard, Ashley, Annie, Landon & Adriana Kennell, Bralyn & Warren Yoder, and Nicole & Kari Miller. The family will receive friends from 5:00PM to 7:00PM Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Whispering Pines Mennonite Church in Honea Path, SC. Funeral services will be 10:30AM Sunday, November 11, 2012 at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family is at the home.
