Anne Wilson

Anne Wilson, 78, of Abbeville, wife of Ansel Wilson, died Tuesday, January 06, 2015 at her residence. She was born in Lowndesville, SC to the late James W. & Catherine Spires Nelson. Mrs. Wilson was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a long-time member of Bells United Methodist Church where she served in many areas. Mrs. Wilson was also a dedicated mother and grandmother to the many children of the community she babysat over the years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Allen Wilson. Surviving is her husband of 61 years of the home; three sons, James Wilson and his wife Leigh, Randall Wilson and his wife Carol and Nelson Wilson and his wife Angie all of Abbeville; a brother, Jimmy Dale Nelson of Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Beth Riddle and her husband Blake, John Thomas Wilson and his wife Emily, Cal Wilson and Rhett Wilson all of Abbeville; three great-grandchildren, Emerson Riddle, Blakely Riddle and Ella Grice Wilson. Loving memories of Anne will be forever cherished by her family. Graveside services will be 3:00PM Friday, January 09, 2015 in Bells United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev.
