Antho Anderson Hannah, 91, wife of the late Elbert Thomas 'Jake' Hannah, of Hodges died Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at the Abbeville Nursing Home. She was born in Greenwood County to the late William Henry and Lila McMahan Anderson. Mrs. Hannah held many jobs throughout her lifetime to provide for her family; she was employed with Regal Manufacturing, Little River Electric, Savitz Drug Store, Thompson's Cloth Shop, and the Abbeville High School lunchroom. She was a member of the Home Demonstration Club through the Clemson Extension. Mrs. Hannah was a longtime member of Hodges Presbyterian Church where she participated in numerous groups and activities; placing flowers in the church brought her much joy and she continued doing so for many years. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Hannah was preceded in death by a brother, Hubert Anderson; two sisters, Mabel Hagan and Margaret Nickles and an infant brother, Robert Anderson. She is survived by her three daughters, Phyllis McCord, and her husband, Terry, of Young Harris, GA, Susan Nance and her husband, Ronnie, of Donalds and Miriam Magaha and her husband, Charles, of Abbeville; a sister, Lindal Erwin, of Indianapolis, IN; ten grandchildren; and twenty great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 2:00PM to 3:00PM Friday, September 13, 2013 at Hodges Presbyterian Church. Funeral services will begin in the church at 3:30PM. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens. The family is at the house of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Magaha.
