Barry Dale Crook, 66, of Abbeville, husband of Carolyn Ferguson Crook, died Saturday, May 6, 2023, at Self Regional Healthcare. He was born in Abbeville to the late Calvin and Ruby Holcomb Crook.
Mr. Crook attended Abbeville High School. He was employed for many years with the City of Abbeville Public Works Department. Barry enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn of 49 years of the home; a daughter, April C. Sutton (Jerry); a brother, Danny Crook (Sue); two sisters, Beverly C. Ware and Debra C. Knowlton; three grandchildren, Samantha S. Latham (Ech), Devin Sutton (Madison) and Sydney Sutton (Fiance Skyler Sellars); and one great-grandson, Clayton Dale Sutton.
Graveside services will be 2:00PM Wednesday, May 10, 2023 in the Little Mountain Presbyterian Church Cemetery with the Rev. Darrell Fetzer officiating. Family will greet friends following the service.
The family is at the home of April and Jerry Sutton.
