Benjamin Thomas Ware

Benjamin Thomas Ware, 32, of Due West died Sunday, March 1, 2015 in Greenwood. He was the son of Marion Bond Ware of Due West and the late William (Bill) Ware of Abbeville. Ben was a graduate of Dixie High School, Class of 2000. He graduated from Piedmont Technical College and was a talented automobile mechanic. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Edna Pat Ware and maternal grandparents, Claud and Rebecca Bond. Ben is survived by his mother, Marion Bond Ware, and her longtime friend, Marco Troetscher, of the home; a sister, Ivy Vartanian (Lee) of Greenwood; two brothers, Sam Ware (Chinae Johnson) of Navarre, FL and Lee Ware of Fountain Inn, SC; grandfather, William T. Ware of Abbeville, SC; and a host of cousins, family, and friends. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 from 3:00pm – 4:00pm at Harris Funeral Home. The family will also greet friends following the service. A service to Celebrate Ben's Life will begin at 4:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev.
