Bonte Wilkerson Anderson, 92, died Thursday, at her home in Due West. The daughter of Samuel C. Lucile Rabb Wilkerson, she was born in York County, SC, and was a 1941 graduate of Erskine College and a retired employee of the State of South Carolina. She was the widow of Chief Petty Officer Wayne Ellie Anderson, U.S. Navy. CPO Anderson fought in WWII and was held at Makassar Prisoner of War Camp in Japan. He died in 1991. Mrs. Anderson was a member of the Due West Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church and was formerly a member of Centennial Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church in Columbia. She was a resident of Covenant Way, a community she dearly loved, for many years. The last member of her immediate family, she is survived by her nephew, Thomas R. Wilkerson, Jr., and two nieces, Pamela Wilkerson Mahoney and Marcella Salley McDaniel. A Memorial Service will be conducted by Rev.
