Bruce Winn

Bruce Garrison Winn, 71, of Abbeville, husband of Sara Long Winn, died Friday, June 30, 2023 at his home. He was born in Abbeville on March 22, 1952 to the late Waymon John Winn and Margaret Humphreys Winn Silvey. 

Mr. Winn graduated from high school in Milpitas, CA and attended Anderson University. He was employed with Pirelli Cable for 23 years and after with Merls Countertops. Mr. Winn later retired from UTC in Hodges. An active member of Lebanon Presbyterian Church, he will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Winn was preceded in death by his siblings, Johnny Winn and Alan Dale Hill. 

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sara Long Winn, of the home; his children, Billy Winn (Shannon) of Abbeville and Angie Zepeda (Jimmie) of Mt. Pleasant, SC; two sisters, Connie Smith of Logan, UT and Becky Tiller of Abbeville; and two very special grandchildren, Savannah Winn and Aiden McCann. 

The family will receive friends from 10:00AM to 11:00AM on Monday, July 3, 2023 in the Lebanon Presbyterian Church fellowship hall. Funeral services will begin at 11:30AM Monday, July 3, 2023 in the church sanctuary with the Rev. John Butler and Rev. Tripp Speer officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
