Byron Louis Jordan

Byron Louis Jordan, 46, of Greenwood, husband of Sodsai Khanarat Jordan, died Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Self Regional Healthcare. He was born in Waco, Texas to Louis H. Jordan and Kim Willoughby Jordan.
Byron was a 1993 graduate of Calhoun Falls High School. He served in the United States Air Force and retired from the United States Army after 23 years of dedicated service. Byron served in Iraq, Global War on Terrorism and received many Commendation medals for his service. He had just accepted a job with the ROTC Program at Clemson University.
Byron is survived by his wife, Sodsai, of eight years; two daughters, Alexandria Jordan of Cary, NC, and Teagan Jordan of Greenwood; his father, Louis H. Jordan of Van Buren, AR and his mother, Kim W. Jordan of McGregor, TX; three brothers, Tony Jordan (Christy) of Van Buren, AR, Ty Jordan of Fayetteville, AR and Zack Schulze of Oklahoma City, OK; and his grandmother, Gaynell Parks of Calhoun Falls, SC.
A service to celebrate Byron’s life will be 4:00PM Saturday, March 27, 2021 at the Harris Funeral Home, Calhoun Falls Chapel. Interment will be in Fort Jackson National Cemetery Wednesday, March 31, 2021 with full military honors.
