Cassie Deese

Cassie Deese, 64, of Abbeville, SC, wife of Curtis Deese, died Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at the Abbeville Area Medical Center. She was born in Fayetteville, NC to the late John McInnis and Ruthalle Foster McInnis.

Cassie was reared in Kannapolis, NC and employed for many years with the What-A-Burger Restaurant as a waitress and cook. She enjoyed reading; most of all, Cassie loved her family with all of her heart.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Terry McInnis and sister, Trudy Blocker.

Cassie is survived by her husband of 29 years, Curtis, of the home; her children, Joey Lee Duty, Jr. of Abbeville, SC, Chris Deese of Harrisburg, NC, Patricia Blocker and Alisia M. Deese, both of Kannapolis, NC; two brothers, Mark McInnis of Abbeville, SC and Bruce McInnis of Shelby, NC; sister, Mary Gainey of Kannapolis, NC; and a grandson, Christian Blocker of Mt. Pleasant, NC.

All services will be private.
