Charles Wallace "Frog" Wilson, Sr., 83, of Abbeville, died Sunday, February 16, 2014 at Abbeville Area Medical Center. He was born in Abbeville to the late John Robert and Lois Pearman Wilson. Mr. Wilson was twice married first to the late Lois Hester Wilson and then Helen Oxner Wilson. Mr. Wilson served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He retired from Pirelli Cable after many years of service and was a member of Rice Memorial Baptist Church. Mr. Wilson was a 45 year member of the Clinton Masonic Lodge #3 AFM and Hejaz Shriner. In addition to his parents and his first wife Lois he was preceded in death by a son, Charles "Chuck" Wilson, Jr.; a brother, J.R. Wilson and a sister, Mary Frances Crider. Surviving Mr. Wilson is his wife Helen of the home; a daughter, Tammy W. Hudson and her husband Scott of Greenwood; two sons, Kim Wilson and his wife Mot of Antreville and Jimmy Wilson and his wife Tammy of Abbeville; two step-sons, Kevin Oxner and his wife Renee of Mountville, SC and Chuck Oxner and his wife Barbara of Carrollton, TX; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at Harris Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2:00PM Wednesday, February 19, 2014 in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Tucker officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens with Masonic Rites.
