Ms. Charlie Mae Norman, 66, of Calhoun Falls, departed this life on October 8, 2021 at her home. She was born May 15, 1955, the daughter of the late Rena Bryant.
Born in Abbeville, Charlie Mae was a member of McAllister Chapel in Calhoun Falls. She retired from Pilgrim’s Pride Corporation in Elberton, GA.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Sarah Jean Thomas, Ida Lee Bryant, Susie Mae Bryant, Willie Mae Tatum and two brothers, George Bryant and Robert (R.C.) Bryant.
Charlie Mae leaves to cherish her memories, a daughter, Ellen Barnes of Calhoun Falls; three sons, Robert Norman, Jr. (Shanelda), Gerald ‘Epp’ Norman and Catlin Norman all of Calhoun Falls; seven sisters, Irene Bryant, Pearlie Ann Bryant, Mozelle Bryant, Patricia Roundtree (Tracy), Frances Bryant all of Calhoun Falls, Mary Jackson (Johnny) of Abbeville and Roberta Bryant Smith of Anderson; four brothers, James Bryant, David Bryant (Bonnie), Michael Bryant (Verna Dean) and Tom Bryant all of Calhoun Falls; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a host of other loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 11:00AM – 12:00PM, Friday, October 15, 2021 before the graveside service at McAllister Chapel Cemetery. Graveside services will begin at 12:00PM in McAllister Chapel cemetery with Minister Martha Crockett, Pastors Joseph Cade and Marilyn Baker and Rev. John H. Williams officiating. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so between the hours of 1:00PM - 5:00PM, Thursday, October 14, 2021 in Harris Funeral Home, Calhoun Falls Chapel.
