Cheryl Key

Cheryl L. Key, age 69, of Due West, South Carolina, passed away on December 5, 2024, at Self Regional Healthcare. She was the devoted wife of Mark Key.

Born in Newport News, Virginia, Cheryl was the daughter of the late George Daniel Montgomery, Jr. and Margaret Elizabeth Phillips Montgomery. A person who genuinely cared for others, she was known for her service to the community and was a member of the Baptist faith.

Cheryl was predeceased by her two brothers, George Steven Montgomery and Scott Montgomery. 

She is survived by her husband, Mark; two children, Dave Priddy and his wife Allyson of Hanahan, South Carolina, and Jennifer Pardue and her husband Michael of Easley, South Carolina; her sister, Kelly Parker and her husband Randy of Durango, Colorado; and five cherished grandchildren, Katelyn, Kyle, Mary, Drew and Jackson.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a visitation on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Harris Funeral Home, followed by funeral services at 2:30 PM in the funeral home chapel, officiated by Rev. Scott Moore. Interment will take place at Long Cane Cemetery.

 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Cheryl's memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
