Claudia Annette Southard

Claudia Annette Southard, 71, died Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at the Whitten Center in Clinton, SC. She was the beloved daughter of the late Elmer Robert Southard, Sr. and Evelyn Mote Southard.

Claudia, for most of her life, was a resident of the Whitten Center. She became family with the staff and enjoyed many friendships with her fellow residents. Claudia was of the Methodist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Elmer Southard, Jr. and a sister, Linda Southard.

Claudia is survived by her brother, William E. ‘Bill’ Southard of Walterboro, SC; a nephew, William E. Southard, Jr. (Melissa) of Charleston, SC; a niece, Angela Southard Winther of Mt. Pleasant, SC and a sister-in-law, Candy Southard of Norman, OK.

Graveside services will be 12:00PM, Monday, September 20, 2021 in Long Cane Cemetery with Rev. Brandon Fulmer officiating.
