Darlene Conley O'Bannon

Darlene Conley O’Bannon, 71, of Abbeville, wife of Clayton Hugh O’Bannon, died Monday, April 29, 2024, at the Hospice House in Greenwood.  She was born in Fayetteville, NC to Sarah Lovia Conley and Donald Louis Conley.      

Darlene retired from the former Milliken & Co – Sharon Plant as a jacquard technician.  She was happiest while taking care of her family and spending time with her grandchildren.  Darlene also enjoyed drawing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Butch Norman and Bubba Norman and a sister, Wanda Dresser.

Darlene is survived by her husband of 48 years, Clay, of the home; three daughters, Tonia Villalba (Matias), Sarah O’Bannon (Troy Brown), and Teresa O’Bannon (Christopher Deas), all of Abbeville; two brothers, Robert Conley and Ronnie Conley (Laura); two sisters, Donna Conley Theil and Charlene Norman (Cooper); and ten grandchildren, Trent Hill, J.C. Hill, Makalyee O’Bannon, Santos Villalba, Dayton Shaw, Carrisa Brown, Clayton Brown, Jaden Deas, Camden Deas and Cali Deas.
