Dealie Mae Dixon

Dealie Mae Dixon, 82, of Calhoun Falls, SC, wife of the late Ernest Eugene Dixon, died Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Petra Health & Rehab in McCormick, SC. She was born in Pelzer, SC to the late David Alexander and Van Dora Crocker Gibson. Mrs. Dixon was a member of Northside Baptist Church, Calhoun Falls and attended Faith Harvest Fellowship, Calhoun Falls. She was a homemaker and will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Peggy Marlene Dixon; two brothers, Amos Gibson and J.D. Gibson; and sister, Sadie B. Crocker. Mrs. Dixon is survived by her three sons, David Eugene Dixon and his wife Paula, Stephen Patrick Dixon and his wife Kathryn, and Rev. Timothy Mark Dixon and his wife, Bettina; a brother, Rev. Haskell Gibson and his wife Boots; a special daughter-in law, Deborah Lorenz; eleven grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon to 2:00PM on Sunday, February 22, 2015 at Harris Funeral Home, Calhoun Falls Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 2:00PM in the Calhoun Falls chapel with Rev. Mike Ford and Rev. Mark Lowe officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
