Denice Myers, 67, of Calhoun Falls, wife of Johnny ‘Oscar’ Myers, died Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson. She was born November 25, 1956 in Calhoun Falls to the late Larry B. and Virginia Neely Chrisley.
Denice graduated from Calhoun Falls High School, Class of 1975. Following graduation she embarked on a career as a Dental Assistant at the office of Dr. Lethco in Greenwood for an impressive 25 years. She enjoyed spending time at the beach, feeling the sand between her toes and being captivated by the calming rhythm of ocean waves. Denice treasured every moment spent with her grandchildren. Their laughter and smiles brought immense happiness to her life. She was a member of the Calhoun Falls Pentecostal Holiness church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Howie Crocker and sister-in-law, Jackie Neely.
Denice is survived by her husband of 48 years, Johnny ‘Oscar’ Myers, of the home; two daughters, Dawn Smalley (Chris) and Candice Evans (Sheldon), all of Anderson; two brothers, David Neely of Austin, TX and Don Chrisley (Rennie) of Calhoun Falls; two sisters, Faye Crocker of Greenwood and Beth Brown (Danny) of Calhoun Falls; and four adoring grandchildren, Peyton Smalley, John David Smalley, Mason Evans and Maddox Evans.
The family will receive friends 1:00PM - 3:00PM, Friday, January 5, 2024, at the Calhoun Falls Pentecostal Holiness Church followed by a family graveside service in Latimer Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions are sent to the Calhoun Falls Pentecostal Holiness Church, 1001 E. Savannah Street, Calhoun Falls, SC 29628.
