Dianne Latham Fossett went home to be in Heaven on Thursday, February 15, 2024, and will experience all the Promises our Lord has told us about for Eternity. She was born on April 2, 1959, the daughter of the late John and Louise Latham. Dianne resides in Greenville and is formerly from Abbeville.
She battled cancer for 4 ½ years. Dianne always tried to find the blessings in each situation where day by day her relationship with Christ grew and grew knowing she was loved by a Sovereign Lord and Savior. She loved people and tried to be an encourager along the journey. Dianne played the piano and organ and directed children’s choirs. She was also an administrative assistant and a caregiver for families who had special need kiddos.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her ten children who passed on before due to miscarriage.
Dianne is survived by her husband of 43 years, Lyman, and their son, Matthew of the home; brother, Phil and his wife, Susan; a niece and nephew and four great-nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 20, 2024 from 12:00PM – 12:45PM at Mitchell Road Presbyterian Church. The funeral services will begin on Tuesday at 1:00PM in the church sanctuary being led by the pastors and choir. The family will travel to Abbeville on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 for the graveside service at 4:00PM in Long Cane Cemetery. All are welcome to come.

Some final thoughts from Dianne: “The journey has been long and hard at times but so many blessings were found along the way, so many friends., etc. Find the joy and blessings in the journey and walk hand in hand with God to the Promised Land. Love and peace to all ♥.”
