Don N. Ross, 64, of Abbeville, husband of Jeanette Davis Ross, died peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Sunday, May 03, 2015 at his residence. Mr. Ross was born in Greenville County to the late Homer C. and Syble Andrews Ross. In 1972, he received his Bachelors' Degree from Clemson University and in 1975, his Master's Degree. In 1983, Mr. Ross received his Bachelors' Degree in Social Work from the University of South Carolina. After 17 years of dedicated service, he retired from John De La Howe School where he served in many different areas. He was an avid entrepreneur, loved children and had a passion for teaching and helping others. Mr. Ross was a member of New Covenant Church and the Norton Owners Association. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Jeanette, of the home; a son, Andrew Ross of New York, NY and a daughter, Audrey Ross Burke and her husband Michael of Abbeville, SC; and a brother, Glenn Ross of Irmo, SC. Graveside Services to Celebrate the Life of Mr. Ross will be 4:00PM Thursday, May 7, 2015 in Long Cane Cemetery. The family will receive friends at their home and after the graveside service.
