Doris Irene Hall, 77, of Cooper City, Florida, passed away on December 7, 2024, at the Hospice House in Greenwood, South Carolina. She was born in Ohio to the late Carl Elwood Shepherd and Edith Bland Shepherd. She was the beloved wife of the late David Hall for 58 years.
Mrs. Hall was a proud graduate of Oak Glen High School, class of 1965, and dedicated 30 years of her professional life to Motorola before retiring. She had a passion for various activities including reading, trap shooting, crocheting, crafting, bowling, playing tennis, and walking. Most notably, she treasured the time spent playing with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Zachary Guire; two sisters, Dorothy Miller and Helen Shipley; and a brother, Harold Shepherd.
Mrs. Hall is survived by her two daughters, Edith A. Guire and her husband, Rev. Chris Guire, of Abbeville, SC and Sarah L. McShane and her husband, Scott McShane, of Cooper City, FL. She is also survived by seven grandchildren: Christopher Guire (Kirstine), Emily Benjamin (Matthew), Nathaniel Guire (Megan), Noah Guire (Ashlyn), and Natalie Guire, Ray (Katie) McShane and Connor McShane; as well as six great-grandchildren: Scarlett, Istelle, Jedidiah, Easton, Mason, and Tanner.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Mrs. Hall to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or to the Alzheimer Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.

David Hall
David Glenn Hall, 79, of Sunrise, Florida, passed away on October 19, 2023, at his home in Sunrise, Florida. He was born in Wellsville, Ohio, at his home to Margaret Katherine Hall. After her passing, he was raised by Robert and Wilda Hall.
He was a faithful husband to Doris Hall for 58 years and was a proud graduate of Wellsville High School, class of 1962. David spent 5 years in the US Navy and then dedicated over 30 years of his professional life to the Gates Rubber Company, retiring in 2006. David had a passion for and was a dedicated bass fisherman, trap shooter, golfer, and photographer. He also loved to exercise. He loved sharing his passion for these hobbies with all of his grandchildren.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Zachary Guire and his brother-in-law and close friend, Oscar Shipley, Sr.
Mr. Hall is survived by his two daughters, Edith A. Guire and her husband Rev. Chris Guire of Abbeville, SC and Sarah McShane and her husband Scott McShane of Cooper City, FL.
