Miss Dot wanted to send her thanks to all the McClellanville friends who did so much for her during her healthy times and not so healthy times. It was noted many times that the reason Miss Dot lived so long was because of her McClellanville family. They fed her and took care of her at a time when most people would have already been in a nursing home. Miss Dot loved her home and wanted to live there as long as she could and her McClellanville friends made that happen until four months ago when she had to be placed in an assisted living facility. She was very appreciative of all the love and care the men and women at The Renaissance in Due West showed her over the past four months. In such a short time, she became attached to the facility and the staff. She wanted you to know how much she loved you. Memorial contributions, in memory of Miss Dot, may be sent to the New Wappetaw Presbyterian Church Building Fund, PO Box 460, McClellanville, SC 29458.
