Dorothy Ann Geise "Dottie" Bruggeman

Dorothy Ann 'Dottie' Geise Bruggeman, 80, of the Savannah Lakes Village, wife of Bob Bruggeman, died Saturday, October 17, 2015 at the Hospice House in Greenwood, SC. She was born August 5, 1935 in Wapakoneta, Ohio to the late Arthur and Cecilia Watercutter Geise. Mrs. Bruggeman was a 1954 graduate of Coldwater High School. She attended Good Samaritan Nursing School in Dayton, Ohio and was a Doctor's Assistant in Coldwater, Ohio for four years. Ms. Bruggeman married the love of her life, 'Bob, on April 12, 1958 in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, Ohio. She retired from the Centerville Ohio School System. Following retirement, Bob and Dottie moved to Savannah Lakes Village and enjoyed life with their friends and neighbors. She was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church in McCormick. Mrs. Bruggeman is survived by her husband of 57 years, Bob; their two sons, Kent Bruggeman and his wife Lita of Cincinnati, Ohio and Kevin Bruggeman and his wife Nancy of Middletown, Ohio; two brothers, James Geise and his wife Lucy of Dayton, Ohio and Bill Geise and his wife Joan of Celina, Ohio; three sisters Betty East and her husband Gene of Troy, Ohio, Ruth Hausfeld and her husband Alan of Manning, SC and Carol Pohl and her husband, Frank of Vandalia, Ohio; her two grandsons, Robert Bruggeman II and his wife Julia and Lucas Bruggeman; a granddaughter, Emma Bruggeman; a step-grandson, Luther Bruggeman; and a great-grandson, Cole Bruggeman. A Memorial Mass will be held 11:00AM, Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Robert J. Sayer, officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Good Shepherd Catholic Church Columbarium located in the Rosary Prayer Garden. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorials, in memory of Mrs. Bruggeman, to be sent to HospiceCare of the Piedmont, 408 W.
