Dorothy Corbett Driggers

Dorothy "Dot" Corbett Driggers, 95, of Abbeville SC, wife of the late Derrill C. Driggers, died Thursday, February 26, 2015 at the Oconee Hospice of the Foothills. She was born in Laurens, SC to the late Irvin Hayne and Sarah Gertrude Hamilton Corbett. Mrs. Driggers was a homemaker and retired secretary of the First Baptist Church of Abbeville where she was a long time member. After retirement, she moved to the Belvedere Commons of Seneca to be close to her family. Mrs. Driggers is survived by her two sons, Tom Driggers and Bob Driggers and his wife Libby, all of Central, SC and a host of extended family and friends. The family will receive friends Saturday, February 28, 2015 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am at Harris Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 am in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Dr. John Keith and Rev. Wayne Wiggins officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
