E. Dennis Crittendon

E. Dennis Crittendon, 76, of Calhoun Falls, died Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at the Hospice House in Greenwood. Husband of the late, Sara Lee Campbell Crittendon, he was born in Abbeville County to the late Edward S. and Mary Louise Chrisley Crittendon.

Mr. Crittendon was a 1960 graduate of Calhoun Falls High School where he enjoyed participating in all sports. He was grateful to have grown up in Calhoun Falls where everyone is family and special to each other. Mr. Crittendon, along with his family, owned and operated Louise’s Tots and Teens Clothing Store in downtown Calhoun Falls. He retired from Pirelli Cable after being employed for many years and was a member of Northside Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife of 47 years and parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Pam Heery.

Mr. Crittendon is survived by his children, Lisa Crittendon of Greenwood and Edward D. ‘Eddie’ Crittendon, Jr and his wife Mary of Easley, SC; two grandchildren, Anna and Drew Crittendon; brother-in-law, Phil Heery of Calhoun Falls and countless extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends 1:00PM – 2:00PM, Friday, November 30, 2018 in Northside Baptist Church. Funeral services will begin at 2:00PM on Friday in the church sanctuary. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorial contributions be made in memory of Mr. Crittendon to Northside Baptist Church Building Fund, 205 Marion St. Calhoun Falls, SC 29628 or to Hospice Care of Piedmont, 408 W. Alexander Ave. Greenwood, SC 29646.
