Ed J. Kiely, 80, of the Savannah Lakes Village, husband of Juanita 'Jenny' Oujo Kiely, died Saturday, December 24, 2016 at his residence. He was born in Orange, New Jersey to the late Edmund J. Kiely and Ruth Keppler Kiely. Mr. Kiely was reared in the home of his aunt and uncle, the late Mary and Ray Kiely. He enjoyed a very special and close relationship with his uncle, the late Frank Kiely. He was a graduate of Orange High School. Mr. Kiely retired from the automotive wholesale parts business and served as Chairman of the Board of the New Jersey Auto Wholesale Association from 1978 – 1985. He was a member of the Rockaway River Country Club in New Jersey. In 2007, he and his wife moved to the Savannah Lakes Village where they both enjoyed playing golf with their many friends. Mr. Kiely was a member of the Good Shepherd Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife of 50 years of the home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 12:00PM, Tuesday, January 3, 2017, in Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 1401 Greenwood Hwy., McCormick, SC 29835 with the Rev. Father Robert Sayer officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Good Shepherd Catholic Church Columbarium. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions, in memory of Mr. Kiely, may be sent to the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 1401 Greenwood Hwy., McCormick, SC 29835 or to the Sandy Branch First Responders, 119 Holiday Road, McCormick, SC 29835.
