Elijah Lee Ware

Elijah Lee Ware, 29, died Monday, September 3, 2018 in Greenwood, SC. He was the son of Marion Bond Ware and the late Bill Ware.

Lee was a graduate of Dixie High School, Class of 2008. He was widely known for his caring nature and gentle spirit. His sense of humor was uniquely his own. Lee always shared and expressed his love for his family and wide circle of friends. He was an awesome “Uncle Lee” to Mays and Owen Vartanian and Raylen Ware; a beloved nephew to his aunts and uncles; and a devoted and loyal friend.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ben Ware, and grandparents, Edna “Pat” Ware and Claud and Rebecca Bond.

Lee is survived by his mother, Marion Bond Ware; a sister, Ivy Vartanian (Lee), of Greenwood; a brother, Sam Ware (Chinae) of Navarre, FL; and his grandfather, William T. Ware, of Abbeville.

The family will be at the home of Lee and Ivy Vartanian in Greenwood.

A private Celebration of Lee’s life will be held at a later date.
