Elizabeth Stone Taylor

Elizabeth Stone Taylor, 80, of 1423 Cedar Springs Road, wife of Furman Taylor, died Sunday, July 23, 2006 at the Abbeville Nursing Home. She was born in Abbeville to the late Albert and Mary Elizabeth Gordon Stone. Mrs. Taylor was a member of New Hope Presbyterian Church P.C.A., and retired from the Abbeville School District in the Food Services Department. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her three brothers, James Stone, William A. Stone, Mahlon Stone, and Robert Allen Stone. Surviving Mrs. Taylor is her husband of 61 years of the home, two daughters, Peggy Pendley and her husband Tommy of Greenwood, and Debbie Wilson and her husband Dale of Abbeville, a brother, Gordon Stone of Due West, five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Monday, July 24, 2006 at Harris Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2:00PM Tuesday, July 25, 2006 in New Hope Presbyterian Church P.C.A.
