Frances Link Baughman

Frances Link Baughman, 87, of Abbeville, wife of the late Jack Baughman, died peacefully on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Emerald Gardens. She was born in Abbeville to the late Lindsay and Maggie Stevenson Link. Mrs. Baughman was a member of Warrenton Presbyterian Church and the Good Timers club of Main Street Methodist Church. She loved her family and will be remembered as a wonderful mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by five sisters, Marion Wilson, Daisy Edwards, Margaret Ashley, Amanda Ethridge, and Mary Uldrick; and two brothers, Paul and Clark Link. Survivng Mrs. Baughman are her three sons; G. Frank Baughman and his wife Dale of Anderson, SC, Ray Baughman of Black Mountain, NC, and John Baughman and his wife Darrelyn of Abbeville; a daughter, Jane Baughman Gable and her husband Jimmy of Abbeville; a sister, Sara L. Uldrick of Abbeville; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 1:00PM, Monday, November 10, 2014, at Warrenton Presbyterian with Dr. B.E. Pettit and Rev. Langdon Erwin officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the graveside following the service. The family will be at their respective homes.
