Frances Ware Loner, 81, of the Level Land Community, wife of the late James L. ‘Buck’ Loner, died Thursday, March 31, 2022 at her residence. She was born in Abbeville to the late Walker and Eva Ashley Ware.
A 1958 graduate of Dixie High School, Mrs. Loner was employed with Mohawk Industries retiring after 30 years of dedicated service. She was also a hairdresser having worked with her sister, the late Barbara Ann Ricketts. Mrs. Loner was a member of Little River Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Shelly Renea Loner; a granddaughter, Crystal Vaughn; great-granddaughter, Kelsey Granger; and her siblings, Barbara Ann Ricketts, Micky Voyles, Ronnie Ware and Thomas Ware.
Mrs. Loner is survived by her children, James Randy Loner and Charlene Parnell (Steve) all of Level Land; a granddaughter, Amy Granger (Shane); and two great-grandchildren, Kattie Granger and Courtney Howell.
The family will receive friends 5:00PM - 7:00PM, Saturday, April 2, 2022 in Harris Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2:00PM, Sunday, April 3, 2022 in Little River Baptist Church with Rev. Garrett Hart officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
