George B. “Bennie” Rambo, Jr., 60, husband of Phila Ann Goldman Rambo, of Bradley, died Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at AnMed Health surrounded by his family. He was born in Greenwood to Beth Tuck Rambo and the late George “Ben” Rambo.
A graduate of Abbeville High School and Spartanburg Methodist College, Bennie was a certified dental technician, owning and managing Augusta Dental Laboratory in Augusta, GA. He was proud of his pilot’s license, a member of the Georgia Dental Laboratory Association and a lifelong member of Cedar Springs A.R.P. Church. Bennie was a dedicated family man; his children and grandchildren were the lights of his life.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kermit and Mary Tuck of Bradley and William H. and Eunice Rambo of Greenwood.
Bennie is survived by his wife of 38 years, Phila, of the home; his mother, Beth, of Abbeville; a son, George B. “Trey” Rambo, III (Brittany), of Honea Path; two daughters, Jamie Ann Rambo Megna (Chris), of Central and Michelle Elizabeth Rambo (Jordan) of Thomasville, NC; a brother, Barry Rambo, of Bradley; a sister, Betzi Snipes (John), of Lake Secession; and two grandchildren, Alexander and Annabelle Megna.
A Celebration of Life Service will be 2:00PM, Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Cedar Springs A.R.P. Church with the Rev. Dr. Lloyd Melton officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
The family will be at their respective homes.
