Helen Hall Crawford, 91, of Abbeville, wife of the late J. Allen Crawford, died peacefully on Sunday, June 5, 2011 at the Diamond Health & Rehab in Simpsonville, SC. She was born in Iva, SC to the late Waymon L. and Minnie Burton Hall. She was a member of South Side Baptist Church and had retired after many years with the Abbeville Milliken Plant and Abbeville Memorial Hospital. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. Surviving Mrs. Crawford are her three daughters, Barbara C. Bollman and her husband Paul of Bradley, SC, Anne C. Carver and her husband Larry of Taylors, SC and Rose C. Weeks of Taylors, SC; a sister, Doris H. Norris of Toccoa, GA; eight grandchildren, Cindy Hosea (Myron), Eddie Perry, Max Bollman (Danielle), Josh Carver (Amy), Chris Weeks (Lindsey), Matt Weeks, Beth Mitchell (David), and Erin Bowers (William); nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Monday, June 6, 2011 at Harris Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11:00AM Tuesday, June 7, 2011 in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Ralph Hefner, Jr. & the Rev. Gary DeBerry officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. The family is the home of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Bollman, 102 Bradley St. Bradley, SC. The family extends their heartfelt appreciation to the staff of the Carriage House of Taylors for their dedication and compassionate care given to their mother. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to, the McCormick First Baptist Church Mission Trip Fund, 108 S. Oak St. McCormick, SC 29835 or to the Lee Road Baptist Church, 1503 East Lee Road, Taylors, SC 29687.
