Irene Ferguson

Eunice Irene Ferguson, 93, of Abbeville, SC, died Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson, SC. She was born in Abbeville to the late William Glen Ferguson, Sr. and Lillian Irene Campbell Ferguson. Ms. Irene was a homemaker who helped raise all of her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Each of them loved and respected her. She was a member of Little Mountain Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, William Glen Ferguson, Jr, Joe Pat Ferguson, and George Will Ferguson; and a sister, Sara Ferguson Dawson. Ms. Irene is survived by a sister-in-law, Ruth Ashley and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. Visitation will be Thursday, January 29, 2015, from 6:00pm – 7:30pm at Harris Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Friday, January 30, 2015, at 3:30pm in Little Mountain Presbyterian Church with Rev. James Long officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family is at the home of Carolyn Crook.
