Irma Ellen (Miller) Stutzman, 96, passed away Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Walnut Hills Nursing Home in Walnut Creek, OH. She was born April 5, 1922 to the late Dan and Mattie (Miller) Miller in Hartville, OH. Irma married Dorman Stutzman, who died October 2000, on November 11, 1940.
Born to this union were three sons, Larry (Karen) of Ft. St. John, BC, Canada, Jay (Laura) and Dallas (Veronica), all of Sarasota, FL; five daughters, Barbara Erb (the late Emanuel) of Millersburg, OH, Loretta Bontrager (Elmer) of Waynesboro, GA, Linda Overholt (Leroy) of Abbeville, SC, Juanita Stutzman of Sarasota, FL and Janice Hyma (Dennis) of Bradenton, FL.
Irma also leaves behind thirty grandchildren; sixty-one great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; and one step-great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by nine brothers, Henry, Roman, Atlee, Albert, Vanwert, Noah, Samuel, Dewey and Jerry; three sisters, Sovina Coblentz, Lydia Coblentz and Marian Overholt; two grandsons, Kevin Overholt and Daryl Erb; and a son-in-law, Emanuel Erb.
The family will receive friends 6:00PM – 8:00PM, Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at Whispering Pines Mennonite Church. Graveside services will be 10:30AM, Wednesday, February 27, 2019 in the Whispering Pines Mennonite Church Cemetery.
