Isabelle Ellis Young

Isabelle Ellis Young, 95, of Abbeville, wife of the late Conrad Young, died Friday, August 1, 2014 at the Summerfield Suites Assisted Living in Summerfield, FL. She was born in Abbeville County, SC to the late John Marvin and Rosa Lee Taylor Ellis. Mrs. Young retired from the Milliken-Abbeville Plant after many years of dedicated service and was a long time member of Upper Long Cane Presbyterian Church. Surviving Mrs. Young are her daughter, Connie Knight and her husband Marvin of The Villages, Florida; three brothers, Bill Ellis, Harris Ellis and Victor Ellis; a sister, Jean Ellis Still; granddaughter, Tonya Sturgess (Duane) and two great-grandchildren, Andrew and Emily Sturgess. The family will receive friends from 3:00PM to 4:00PM Sunday, August 3, 2014 at Harris Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 4:30PM on Sunday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Wayne Wicker officiating. Burial will follow in Long Cane Cemetery.
