Jacob Clay "Batman" Waters

Jacob Clay ‘Batman’ Waters, 22, of McCormick died Friday, September 27, 2019. He was born April 22, 1997 in Greenwood.

Jacob attended Calhoun Falls Charter High School and was a former employee with Dollar General Corp. As an enthusiastic gamer, many happy hours were spent enjoying this favorite hobby. Jacob will be deeply missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Vann and Nannette Waters, JoJo Waters and Frances Bryant.

Jacob is survived by his parents, Dickie and Tonya Mobley Waters of McCormick and Blake Waters of Abbeville; brothers, Matthew B. Waters of McCormick and Jesse Wheeler of Anderson; sisters, Nikki Paige Waters (fiancé, Zachary) of Honea Path and Haley Wheeler of Anderson; grandparents, Alvin and Mildred Mobley of McCormick and Janice Waters of Abbeville; great-grandmother, Linnie Ruth McCollough of Lowndesville; uncles, Michael Mobley (Krista) and Patrick Mobley, all of McCormick; aunt, Tabitha Argo (Robert) of Asheville, NC; special nephews, Justin, Chance and Samuel Elsner; his close, childhood friend, Tyler Hummel; his dog and constant companion, Rainbow and a wide circle of extended family and friends, including numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 5:00PM – 7:30PM, Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at Harris Funeral Home, Calhoun Falls Chapel, 526 E. Savannah St., Calhoun Falls, SC. Funeral services will be 4:00PM, Wednesday, October 2, 2019 in the funeral home chapel.
