Jacqueline ‘Jackie’ Funkhouser Saxon, 77, wife of the late Larry Saxon, died Thursday, September 16, 2021, at her home. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri to the late George Funkhouser and Edith Dudley Funkhouser.
Jackie was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She was involved with her family and held them close in her heart. Jackie was a member of Beulah Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son, Anthony Michael Tanner of Tennessee; three daughters, Kathy Denise Beauford (Randy) of Abbeville, Melissa Ann Poole and Michelle Jennings, both of Anderson; a brother, Gary Wayne Funkhouser of Missouri; a sister, Geraldine Faye Bono of St. Louis, Missouri; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Graveside services in Warrenton Presbyterian Church Cemetery will be private.
