James R. 'Bunker' Hill, Jr., 62, husband of Linda Hall Hill, of Abbeville died Sunday, March 9, 2014 at AnMed Health Medical Center. He was born in Abbeville to the late James R. Hill, Sr. and Beulah Patterson Hill. Bunker attended Dixie High School and worked as a truck driver. He was a member of Bells United Methodist Church. Bunker was better known by some as the "Karaoke Man" and spent many nights bringing people great joy as he worked the karaoke machine. Bunker is survived by his wife of 32 years of the home; a brother, Terry 'Pat' Hill (Ruth); a sister, Linda Patterson; a special cousin, Mary Hill Milas; a special adopted sister, Amelia Saxon, all of Abbeville; four nephews, Daryle Patterson (Diane), Jonathan Patterson, Daniel Hill and Micah Hill and his two beloved dogs, Mac and Pee Wee. A Celebration of Bunker's Life will be 3:00PM, Thursday, March 13, 2014 at his sister Linda Patterson's home, 465 Rogers Rd. in Abbeville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions, in memory of Bunker, may be sent to the charity of one's choice. The family is at his sister's home on Rogers Rd.
