James M "Buddy" Waters

James M. 'Buddy' Waters, 86, of Calhoun Falls, husband of the late Beulah Graham Waters, died October 24, 2014 at Heardmont Nursing Home, Elberton, Georgia. Mr. Waters was born in Calhoun Falls to the late Paul and Maggie Jane Wiles Waters. He was employed at Mohawk Industries for twenty-five years and was a member of the Iva First Assembly of God. In addition to his parents and wife Beulah of 50 years he was preceded in death by three sisters, Pauline Daniel, Marie Morris, Linda Fleming and one brother, Richard Waters. Surviving Mr. Waters are his daughters, Darlene Tobias of Whitmire, Frankie Bufford of Calhoun Falls and Brenda Gail Dove of Iva; a son, Jackie Ray Waters of Clinton; two sisters, Johnnie Bradford (Jim), and Bobbie Johnson (Joe), all of Elberton, GA; sixteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 1:00PM to 2:00PM at Harris funeral home Calhoun Falls Chapel on Monday, October, 27 2014. Funeral services will begin on Monday after the visitation at 2:00PM in the Calhoun Falls Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Tucker officiating. Burial will follow at Latimer Cemetery.
