Jewell Scott (Hilley)

Jewell Hilley Scott, 94, of Calhoun Falls, wife of the late Henry Lee Scott, died Sunday, February 28, 2021 at her home. She was born in Calhoun Falls to the late Nathan Michael and Grace Varner Hilley.

A 1944 graduate of Calhoun Falls High School, Mrs. Scott was formerly employed with the Calhoun Falls Post Office and Calhoun Falls Mill. She worshipped at Calhoun Falls Pentecostal Holiness Church.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by eight brothers, Cleo, Thomas, Rob, Roy, Weaver, David, James and Auby Gene Hilley; and two sisters, Berda Mae Wheless and Mary Emma Fowler.

Mrs. Scott is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and wide circle of extended family and friends.

Graveside services will be held 2:00PM, Thursday, March 4, 2021 in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens with Rev. Jim Howard and Mr. Matthew Hilley officiating.
