John Robert Regan

John Robert Regan, 80, of Mt. Carmel, SC, died Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at the Hospice House in Greenwood, SC. He was born in Passaic, NJ to the late Joseph Burlius Regan and Eleanor Elizabeth Hull Regan.

Rev. Regan was a Catholic Priest for 18 years and served as a Hospice Nurse for 25 years. He was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Kathy Regan and a nephew, Brian Regan. 

Rev. Regan is survived by his two brothers, Michael Regan (Geri) and Joseph Regan; nieces and nephews, Michael Regan (Bridget), Caitlyn Foster (Kyle), Evelyn Foster, Brianna Regan, Molly Regan, Shawn Parsons (Nathan), Linnea Parsons, Devin Browning (Geoff), Rowan Browning, Morgan Parsons-Fujimori (Taiki), Eleanor Fujimori, Jeremy Regan (Lieselot), John Regan, Zachary Regan (Ashley), Jodi Swanigan (David), Regan Swanigan, Dennis Regan, Chris Fisher, Jim Regan, Joseph William Regan (Rita), Dylan Regan, Anastasia Regan and Bryan Charles Regan.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Rev. John Robert Regan will be 1:30PM Sunday, September 22, 2024, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home, 302 North Main St. Abbeville, SC 29620. 

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully request memorial contributions, in memory of Rev. Regan, be sent to Hospice & Palliative Care of the Piedmont, 408 W. Alexander Ave. Greenwood, SC 29646.
