John Livingston ‘Johnny’ Hill, IV

John Livingston ‘Johnny’ Hill, IV, 81, of Martinez, GA, husband of Liubov Anatoliivna Korchynska Hill, died Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at his home. He was born in Abbeville, SC to the late James Riley Hill, Sr., and Sarah Cochran Hill. 

Mr. Hill was a 1961 graduate of Abbeville High School and Clemson University, class of 1965. He retired after many years with PCS as a National Fertilizer Salesman. Mr. Hill was proudly involved in various organizations in representing agriculture and livestock specifically Simmental Bulls. He was the recipient of the 4-H Alumni Award, Honorary FFA Degree and past president of the S.C. Beef Board. Mr. Hill was an avid Clemson fan and golfer. He was of the Presbyterian faith. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dr. William G. ‘Billy’ Hill. 

Mr. Hill is survived by his wife of sixteen years, Liubov of the home; four children, John Livingston Hill, V (Cher) of Lexington, SC, Kim Hill Prince (Bob) of Abbeville, SC, Andrea Hill Scoggins (Chad) of Pelzer, SC and Suzanne Hill Wilson (Eric) of Greenwood, SC; a brother, James Riley Hill (Ethel Mae) of Blackville, SC; a sister-in-law, Linda P. Hill of Abbeville, SC; eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. 

Mr. Hill’s high school senior quote was, “Earnest in his work; wholehearted in his play; noble in his thought; what more is there to say?”

There will be a private family service in Long Cane Cemetery.
