Judy Tucker Elder

Judy Tucker Elder, 81 of Iva, SC, died Friday, September 13, 2024, at her home, with loved ones by her side. She was born in Belton to the late Samuel Howard Weeks and Clydie Snipes Weeks.

Judy enjoyed a career as a graphic artist and typesetter, contributing her artistic talents to a number of publications, including the Anderson Independent, Press & Banner and National Baptist Printing Co. in Nashville, TN. Her heart was boundlessly filled with love for her family and her beloved animals. She cherished every moment spent with her loved ones, creating memories that will be held dear in the hearts of those who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Gary; two brothers-in-law, Bob Nogai and John Gary and a son-in-law, Tim Griffin.

Judy is survived by her children, Kim Griffin, Derrick (Angie) Tucker all of Antreville; sister, Patsy M. Nogai; six grandchildren, Bronson, Brandon, Cory, Tonya, Daniel and Austin; ten great-grandchildren, Jadie, Marley, Trey, Duncan, Riley, Mariel, Clay, Skylar, Norah and Dalton.

There are no services planned at this time.
