Judy Scott Stevenson

Judy S. Stevenson, 72, of Abbeville, wife of the late William A. 'Billy' Stevenson, died Thursday, December 18, 2014 at the Heartland-West Ashley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Charleston, SC. She was born in Abbeville to the late Curtis 'Runt' Scott and Janie Powell Scott Lewis. Mrs. Stevenson retired from Bankers Trust of Abbeville and First Federal of Anderson after 35 years of dedicated service in the banking field. She was a member of Upper Long Cane Presbyterian Church and the Long Cane Society. Mrs. Stevenson is survived by her son, Scott Stevenson and his fiancée Tammy of Greenwood; her brother, Franklin E. Lewis and his fiancée Patricia of Abbeville; four grandchildren, Heather, Kara, Gatlin and Sarah; two great-grandchildren, Jayden and Kinsley; a niece, Lacey Lewis Yates; a nephew, Benji Greeson (Tara) and countless extended family and friends. The family will receive friends from 2:00PM -3:00PM Sunday, December 21, 2014 at Upper Long Cane Presbyterian Church. Funeral services will begin at 3:00PM Sunday in the church sanctuary with Rev. Wayne Wicker officiating. Burial will follow in Long Cane Cemetery. The family is at the home. The family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation to the Heartland-West Ashley Nursing Staff for the love and care that was extended to their mother while she resided there.
