Kathryn Weems Chrisley Cain

Kathryn Weems Chrisley Cain, 83, of Abbeville, formerly of Calhoun Falls, died Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at her daughter’s residence.  She was born in Birmingham, AL to the late Roscoe C. and Geneva Gore Weems.  Kathryn was twice married, first to the late Roger Chrisley and second, to the late Loyd J. Cain.

She enjoyed spending time outdoors and was an enthusiastic camper who found solace in nature’s beauty.  Her enthusiasm for camping and traveling created many delightful experiences that she shared with those she loved.  However, her love for family knew no bounds. Kathryn cherished every moment spent with family and always put them first. Her memory will live on in the lives of those she touched.

In addition to her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Lititia Chrisley Yañez; grandson, Zachary McConnell; and two brothers, Bill Weems and C.K. Weems.

Kathryn was a wonderful mother to her daughters, Robin Chrisley Moreno  and Jessica Chrisley Scott and stepmother to Belinda Chrisley Carlisle; grandmother to seven grandchildren: Keri McConnell, Cassandra Hill, Alexandra Gibson Gowan (Jesse), Eloisa Yañez, Victoria Yañez, Lander Carlisle, and Dustin Carlisle; great-grandmother to eleven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends 1:00PM-2:00PM, Friday, June 16, 2023, at Northside Baptist Church, Calhoun Falls.  Funeral services will begin at 2:30PM with Rev. Steve Jacks officiating.  Burial will follow at Latimer Cemetery.

The family is deeply grateful to Dr. Keith Scott, Kayla Beatty, Michael Stewart, and Chaplain Josh Chiles from HomeBridge Hospice for their extraordinary care and compassion.
