Keenan D Kelly

Keenan D. Kelly, 64, of Abbeville, husband of Beth Jones Kelly, died Sunday, October 3, 2021, at Self Regional Healthcare. He was born in Anderson County to the late Thomas Earl Kelly and Bertha Ellenburg Kelly.

Mr. Kelly, a graduate of Lander College, retired from the retail industry. Keenan had a vivacious outgoing personality; never meeting a stranger. He enjoyed knowing people, playing golf, attending auctions, buying, and selling vintage items and collecting silver coins. His laughter was contagious. Keenan was an enthusiastic Clemson fan. He was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church in Greenwood.

Mr. Kelly is survived by his wife, Beth of 39 years of the home; two sons, Joshua Seth Kelly of Abbeville, SC and Brett Butler Kelly and his fiancé, Paige Smutzler, of Lewiston, Idaho; two brothers, Thomas Earl Kelly, Jr., and John Taft Kelly both of Anderson, SC; a sister, Susan Kelly Foust (Butch) of Athens, GA; his beloved dog, Button and his cat, Leela.

A service to celebrate Keenan’s life will be 3:00PM Saturday, October 9, 2021, at St. Mark United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Dan Smyth officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall.
