Keith 'Honk' Hall, 50, of Abbeville, husband of Crystal Fernandez Hall, died Thursday, September 29, 2016 at the Hospice House in Greenwood. He was born in Abbeville to Billy and Becky Hall. 'Honk' was a 1983 graduate of Abbeville High School. He was formerly employed with Abbeville Mills and Flexible Technologies. Most recently, 'Honk' was employed with WZLA 92.9 Radio announcing Abbeville High School football games on Friday nights, Abbeville Sporting Goods, and the Norris Auction. He was a sports enthusiast and for the last 30 years he could be found helping with stats for the AHS Panther football team. 'Honk' was a member of South Side Baptist Church where he enjoyed singing in the choir and performing special music. He will be forever remembered for his vivacious personality, his love of family and dedication to music and sports. He was preceded in death by his father and mother in-law, Joe and Audrey Pruitt Fernandez; maternal grandparents, Rosella and Grady Hall; and paternal grandparents, Lillian and Roy Hall. 'Honk' is survived by his wife of 24 years of the home; a daughter, Becca Trujillo and her husband, Nestor of Greenwood; parents, Billy and Becky Hall of Abbeville; brother, Wayne Hall of Abbeville; favorite pets, Avery, Baya, Sunny, Tucker, and Iggy; and a number of extended family and friends. The family will receive friends 2:00PM – 3:30PM, Sunday, October 2, 2016, in the Abbeville First Baptist Church Christian Life Center. A Service to Celebrate 'Honk's' Life will begin at 4:00 PM on Sunday in the Christian Life Center with Rev. Jerry Catoe officiating.
