Krista Searcy

Krista Breean Searcy, 21, of Honea Path, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, on October 27, 2024, at Self Regional Healthcare. She was born in Anderson to Brandon D. Searcy and Tanya Brock Searcy.

Krista loved life, especially gaming. She cherished her time spent with her brother, sister and dear friends, creating precious memories for those who were lucky enough to know her. Her bond with her dog Bendo was very special. To Krista, Bendo was more than a pet; he was her baby. She also possessed a flair for beauty, experimenting with various makeup looks that allowed her to express herself and her vibrant personality.

Krista is survived by her parents; brother, Drew Searcy of Iva; sister, Kaley Searcy of Honea Path; paternal grandparents, Gaylon ‘Pop’ and Carol Searcy; her maternal grandmother, Sandy Bordelon; and numerous extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends, 1:00PM – 2:00PM, Friday, November 1, 2024, at Harris Funeral Home, Abbeville Chapel. Graveside services will begin at 2:30PM on Friday in the Searcy Family Cemetery, 542 Hook Road, Honea Path, SC with Pastor Wesley Taylor officiating.
