Larry W. Suddeth

Larry W. Suddeth, 76, of Abbeville, husband of Linda Burdette Suddeth, died Monday, September 2, 2024, at his home. He was born in Ware Shoals to the late Coley and Estelle Alan Suddeth.

Larry retired from the textile industry and the Index Journal after many years of dedicated service. He will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Larry worshipped at Grace United Methodist Church.

 In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Kristi Stewart.

 Larry is survived by his wife of 38 years, Linda, of the home; two sons, Keith (Melanie) Stewart and Carey “Goof” Stewart; daughter, Melody (John) Griffin; four grandchildren, Autumn, Robert, Amber, Tripp and six great-grandchildren.

 The family will receive friends 1:00PM – 2:00PM, Thursday, September 5, 2024, at Harris Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 2:00PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jason Wilson officiating. There will be a private family burial in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
